« Wind Generator Installations
The following is our team of companies experience in the transportation and erection of Wind Turbines. All of the primary hoisting was done with 440 ton capacity crawlers cranes (Liebherr LR1400/2).
We also supplied mobile cranes, rough terrain cranes, specialized freight trucks and blade carriers to transport the units.
1) Location: Pincher Creek, Alberta
a. Scope of Work: Offload & set 20 Nordex units on 55M towers.
b. The weight of the nacelle was 130,000 lbs.
2) Location: Pincher Creek, Alberta
a. Scope of Work: Offload from rail and haul 1 Vestas V-80 Prototype and set it on a 65M tower.
b. The weight of the nacelle was 176,000lbs.
3) Location: Lethbridge, Alberta
a. Scope of Work: Offload from rail and haul 38 Vestas V-80 complete units. (i.e. 38 Nacelles, 38 Hubs, 114 blades, 114 tower sections)
4) Location: St. Leon, Manitoba
a. Scope of Work: Setting of 63 NEG Micon V-82 units on 80M Towers.
b. The nacelle weight was 112,000lbs.
5) Location: Fort Macleod, Alberta
a. Scope of Work: Offload and set 47 GE 1.5MW units on 67M towers.
b. The nacelle weight was 116,00lbs.
