Gayle is the Health & Safety Coordinator for each of the Stampede Crane branches in Calgary, Medicine Hat, Brooks, and Lethbridge. She conducts orientation and training, and general program administration for Stampede Crane. Gayle is responsible for ensuring that all governmental and contractor requirements are met in the areas of health, safety, and the environment. This includes proper documentation to be completed and kept up to date, hazard identification and assessment, hazard controls, and emergency response.

Previously, Gayle worked for Cox Crane as office administrator and joined the Stampede Crane family when it acquired Cox Crane in 2008. She was instrumental in this division of Stampede Crane maintaining the 1st Health and Safety Certificate of Recognition from Alberta Partnerships in Health and Safety in the crane industry which was awarded in 1997 and has been maintained since.

She has been married since 1984 and has four children and five grandchildren.

In her free time, Gayle enjoys camping, vacationing in Hawaii, and spending time with her grandchildren. Her advice to aspiring professionals is to listen and learn and don’t be afraid to ask questions; take every opportunity that you can to learn more.
