Mission Critical Focus: Safety, Operations & Customer Satisfaction

Bob works with all our business unit managers in BC and Alberta, ensuring all Eagle West and Stampede Crane operations run smoothly and successfully. With over 27 years in sales and senior management, we’re happy to have him as part of the Eagle West family. Bob also serves on the Capital, Executive, Strategic Planning & Leadership Teams for Eagle West and Stampede Crane.

Originally from Golden, B.C., Bob pursued his post-secondary education and spent the early years of his career in Alberta. Since becoming a lower mainland resident in 1988, Bob joined the Eagle West family as a partner and COO in 2006. Prior to Eagle West Bob worked from 1999 to May 2006 in the cement and concrete industry as the Vice President and General Manager for a major supplier of ready mix concrete and related products and services in the Lower Mainland, Fraser Valley, and Vancouver Island. With his knowledge and experience, he led the group of companies through significant growth and capital investment.

Bob has always managed in a non union environment and has significant labor relations experience, which is reflected in Bob’s commitment to teamwork.

Since 1999, Bob has been a board member for the Independent Contractors Business Association and was Chair for ICBA in 2008. He has a technical diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Alberta (SAIT) and also completed his Masters of Business Administration at Athabasca University. When Bob has some spare time he enjoys snow skiing, water skiing and vacationing at Shuswap Lake.  Bob has been married for 24 years and has three children.

Bob's advice to aspiring professionals is to treat people with respect at all times and to stay on the high road, no matter how tough the going may get.
