Bridge Resetting at Glencoe Golf Course
| Aug 19 / 13
Back in June, the flooding in Alberta washed away 4 stone bridges at the Glencoe Golf Course in Calgary, along with many other things. This bridge, weighing 62,000 lbs, was washed right off of its foundation – isn’t the power of water incredible!
After they fixed the bridge foundations, Stampede Crane & Rigging was sent in to lift the bulky bridges into place. Using the 1095 cranes, this 62,000 pound bridge (above) was lifted back into place, along with two smaller bridges, like the one below, using the 1055 crane. The final bridge is set to be lifted into place soon.
