Safety is a Culture of Caring

Workplace Health & Safety is alive and well in Southern Alberta!

Whether we wake up to a warm Chinook wind blowing, a minus 35 degree wind chill, pelting rain or a blinding snowstorm, there is one constant that has been observed for decades in the homes and workplaces of loyal employees – we get up, pull on our boots and go to work SAFELY!

Across all our operations and locations we practice the “3Cs” incorporated into our safety program – namely Commitment, Consistency and Culture.

Our COMMITMENT is to a strong health and safety program that protects employees, customers, our property and the property of the public as well as the environment. Employees at every level, including management, are responsible and accountable for the company’s overall safety initiatives. Complete and active participation by everyone, everyday, in every job is necessary for the safety excellence the company expects. Management supports coordination of safety among all workers on the jobsite.

CONSISTENCY in the program requires that the processes and procedures we have in place are followed and tracked daily. Deficiencies are corrected immediately and all work is performed under the strictest safety guidelines. Attention to every aspect of a work process is imperative.

The CULTURE of safety in which we operate ensures that all employees return home safely each day. Every task performed, whether large or small, begins and ends with safety awareness.

By working together and sharing the strongest safety elements present in all of Stampede’s operations, we can all move forward building and improving safety initiatives with the confidence that we share in the responsibility of keeping each other safe every day as we remember our work motto ….SAFETY ALWAYS!
